ABOUT US
OUR STORY
We are Leah and Amelia, founders of Mini Music Adventurers. We came up with the concept of Mini Music Adventurers in early 2023 as we watched our kids play on the trampoline.
Our programs are all original and created by us. Our changing theme (always fun and kid friendly) offers something new as we feature different orchestral instruments
Founders Leah and Amelia are both tertiary qualified (Sydney Conservatorium), classically trained musicians with many years’ experience teaching music to children of all ages. Leah is also an occupational therapist with many years’ experience working with children & their families in the community.
We now are proud to work with a wonderful growing team of tertiary trained classical musicians in Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne & Brisbane to bring the music to our communities!
Our goal was simple - to make classical music fun and accessible for young children, and to create a program we would want our own children to participate in.
Starting out in the NSW Southern Highlands which we both call home, our program quickly became popular and in 2024 we commenced additional services in Sydney including daycare, preschool and primary ages incursions.
Our classes expose children to foundational concepts of music using a play based approach. Our mission in doing this is to foster an interest in and love of music in the early years; our hope is that this will form the building blocks of a lifelong appreciation of music and the arts.
An additional service commenced in 2025 are our classical music shows created specifically for Aged Care services, delivered by our talented and passionate team in the Southern Highlands and across Sydney. Drawing on co-founder Leah’s background as an occupational therapist, these shows aim to inspire and engage our aged care audiences through the power of music.
